Our Club

2019
A group of friends, neighbours, family, work colleagues and acquaintances got together to play the game of Golf Croquet in Sion.

2020 /2021 /2022 …
After discovering and playing Golf Croquet informally for two years, the Club CroquetVS was finally created in January 2022 and is a member of the Swiss Croquet Association (SCA). This makes us the fourth club in Switzerland after CERN (GE), Rheinfelden (AG) and Zürich.

Membership Fee:
CHF 150.- per person

Our Membership includes the Swiss Croquet Association membership of CHF 20.- per person. This entitles players to play in official SCA tournaments and includes liability insurance for all members in those tournaments.

The advantages of becoming a member are:

• No Green Fee (CHF 10.-) for Saturday training sessions.
• Use of the club's equipment and lawns.
• Possibility of reserving a lawn on other days of the week, outside club training sessions.
• Participation in the annual general meeting, where all members can give their opinions and ideas, including the right to vote.
• Coaching by the SCA or by more experienced players.
• The opportunity to enter official Swiss Croquet Association tournaments (membership of our club includes the SCA fee of CHF 20.- per person per year).
• The opportunity to take part in various social activities organised during the winter months.
• CroquetVS offers its members an aperitif at our annual social events (AGM, summer BBQ, autumn brisolée and depending on the club's finances, we try to pay for part of our Christmas meal).
